Little Chicks

We are very proud of our thriving Pre-School and consider it a vital cog of the school itself. Our Pre-School room is situated alongside our Reception class (Wren) and this helps to ensure a smooth transition to mainstream education. The children get used to the school routines and when they move into Reception they soon settle in as they know the surrounding areas and staff. Most of our Reception pupils have previously attended our Pre-School and are familiar with the school procedures such as lunchtimes and family services in church. You are very welcome to phone or email and arrange a visit to our Pre-School.

This is because we need to keep to the adult/child ratios and we can happily show you around at quieter times. Children can start at any time of the year and we have a flexible settling-in policy. You are welcome to stay initially for ‘stay and play’ sessions with your child and we work together to ensure you and your child feels safe, happy and valued. 

We are a term time only pre-school and follow the same dates as our school.
