New Roles
It has continued to be a busy time as I have became used to working across two schools. I am lucky that Broadheath and Martley are very close to each other and this has allowed me to work in both schools almost every day.
Mrs Randall, as head of School, has taken on many of the day-to-day tasks and is leading in teaching and learning at Broadheath. Governors and staff at both schools feel that this model of leadership will help sustain small schools in the future.
The children have been listening to a talk from our local district councillors this morning (Friday) about the work they do - one child has still said he thinks he would prefer to be a footballer rather than a councillor!
I also had the pleasure of meeting the new Curate in Charge of Broadheath last Sunday - Reverend Kalantha Brewis - and she is very keen to become more involved in the life of the school in the future.
