Broadheath Parent Teacher Association
(PTA)
The PTA is a registered charity which raises money for the School.
The Broadheath PTA is a registered charity run entirely by volunteers which are parents and carers of pupils within the school who work closely together with staff and pupils to raise vital funds for our school.
Each year we organise a variety of fun events for families to enjoy, including school discos, movie nights, quiz nights, Easter Bingo, and our Summer Fayre. These events not only bring our school community together but also raise thousands of pounds to support projects and opportunities that fall outside the school’s core budget.
This year the PTA is working towards refreshing the school’s reading nooks and improving ICT provision across the school by providing additional laptops and computers to support teaching and learning for all year groups.
Meetings are held throughout the school year - usually at The Bell - and we are always delighted to welcome new members, whether you’d like to join the committee, lend a hand at events, or simply share your ideas. As a PTA volunteer there is no minimum time commitment - you can choose when and where you can help out - any support is always appreciated! If you’re unavailable to attend PTA events you can also support us by donating raffle prizes, providing match funding, or even choosing us as your charity of choice on cash back apps such as easyfundraising!
Thanks to the generosity and support of families, every year the PTA funds the whole school trip to the pantomime, book bags for every Reception starter, and Year 6 leavers’ hoodies. Over the past 12 years we’ve also funded:
