Mental Health and Wellbeing

At Broadheath C.E. Primary and Pre-School, we are deeply committed to the mental health and well-being of our young learners. Understanding the pressures faced by children today, we strive to create a nurturing environment that supports the emotional and psychological growth of your child. Our school offers various resources designed to enhance well-being and assist young students in developing resilience and positive mental health habits. We believe in working collaboratively with parents to foster a community where every child feels valued, understood, and supported. We're committed to supporting the mental health and wellbeing of the children and staff connected with our academy. To ensure we are doing this we have the following things in place; 

• Staff trained to support adults and pupils with mental health and wellbeing
• Trained teaching assistants to support pupils when issues occur at school or home
• Use of Wrap-Around Care for identified children to support school attendance and mental health and wellbeing
• Collaborative work with external agencies for identified pupils
• Continuous staff training in techniques to identify and support children such as TIS training.
